The last of the 5th birthday parties have passed and life changes pace [again]. School committees, part-time or full-time work, music lessons, sports games .... Mum's taxi goes further afield.

But ... Mum still needs nurturing and a social network.

Don't rush away from MOPS and the friendship network it represents.

Keep in touch with MOPS ... Think about ways to volunteer and give the help you needed when you were a mother of preschoolers.

• MOPPETS helper, even once a term or for one whole term.
• Meal maker. Visitor. Encouraging cards.
• Build a prayerful relationship with the local MOPS co-ordinator. Ask a MOPS mother or leader "How may I best help you?" or "How can I help you today?"
